Shoshana Bortner

Shoshana Bortner has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and game development. Shoshana currently works as a Graphic Designer at Duolingo since September 2022. Previously, they worked as a Character Artist/Designer at Top Floor Studios starting from December 2016. Shoshana also has experience as an Animator/Quality Assurance Specialist at Funomena from October 2020 to March 2022, where they started as an intern from February 2020 to September 2020. Shoshana worked as a QA Production Specialist at Uber from September 2018 to February 2020. Before that, they were a Data Imagery Editor (2D Environment) at Apex onsite at Major Tech Company from August 2017 to September 2018. Shoshana also worked as a Design Consultant at READ LLC from September 2016 to August 2017. Shoshana's early experience includes roles as a 3D Modeler & Artist/Co-Designer at The Global Game Jam in January 2017 and as an Artist/Co-Designer at Team JEMS from March 2016 to June 2016.

Shoshana Bortner attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2012 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art and Design with a focus on Games and Playable Media.
