Nora LSW, CADC, CDVP has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. From 2017 to present, Nora has worked at the DuPage County Health Department, initially as an Emergency Services Counselor and later as a Forensic Behavioral Health professional. Prior to this, Nora served as a Youth Court Specialist at Communities In Schools from 2015 to 2019, conducting assessments for adolescents involved in the legal system and making recommendations for further evaluation. Nora also worked as a Lead Cashier at Smallcakes A Cupcakery in Naperville, Illinois from 2015 to 2018. In addition, from 2014 to 2017, Nora held the role of Admissions Counselor at Gateway Foundation, where they conducted client/family interviews, documented treatment plans, and maintained communication with various stakeholders. Lastly, Nora served as a Research Assistant at CCLC from 2013 to 2014, providing bilingual translation, processing student report cards, and conducting literature reviews on after-school programs.
Nora LSW, CADC, CDVP completed their education in a chronological order. Nora obtained a High School Diploma from Rosary High School (Aurora, IL) between the years 2002 and 2006. Subsequently, Nora attended Waubonsee Community College from 2006 to 2009, where they earned an Associate Degree in Science. Nora then pursued their Bachelor's degree at Aurora University from 2010 to 2012, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Physiology. Nora continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Social Work (M.S.W.) from Aurora University between 2012 and 2014.
