Kim Altom

Kim Altom has over two decades of experience in the field of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) consulting. Kim most recently worked at dss+ as the Global Operations Risk Management Practice Director starting in July 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at BSI, including Senior Vice President and Managing Principal of EH3S Consulting Services, Senior Vice President and Managing Principal, and Gulf Coast Regional Director of EHS Services and Solutions. Kim also worked at Bureau Veritas, where they served as the Senior Director of Operations for the Gulf Coast and Mountain West regions. Kim held roles such as Director Operations and Director of Business Development, focusing on oil and gas services. Kim also worked as a Manager and HSE Consulting Team Supervisor, providing Industrial Hygiene and Safety services. Before joining Bureau Veritas, Kim worked as an HSE Technical Consultant at Packer Engineering and Bureau Veritas. Kim started their career as an HSE Manager at Merck and as an Industrial Hygienist at Lucent Technologies. Kim's expertise includes risk management, operations management, business development, team supervision, and technical consulting in a variety of industries including chemicals, food/beverage, aerospace, and oil and gas downstream. Kim has a track record of delivering profitable results and driving growth through strategic planning and market expansion.

Kim Altom has a Master's Degree in Industrial Hygiene & Environmental Management from the University of Oklahoma. They also have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the same university. In addition, Kim Altom holds a certification as a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) obtained in November 2002 from the Board for Global EHS Credentialing (BGC®).
