Sean McCaffery

Sean McCaffery is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in research and development within the chemical and agricultural sectors. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Engineer at DuPont since April 2022, Sean focuses on the scale-up testing and validation of new CMP products for the semiconductor industry. Prior to this role, Sean worked at Corteva Agriscience from January 2018 to April 2022 as a Seed Technology Engineer, where expertise in seed treatment and fumigation processes supported the company's Seeds Business. Sean's earlier tenure at DuPont included positions such as Staff Associate Investigator and Associate Investigator in the Crop Protection Business Unit, leading teams and managing operations at the Integrated Seed Science Center. Sean began career at DuPont in 2005 as a Mechanical Technician, specializing in testing various materials. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University, earned in 2008.
