Alan Tannehill

Alan Tannehill has extensive experience in sales and business development within the oil and gas and aerospace sectors, currently serving as USA Sales at DuraCoatings since October 2022. Previous roles include Business Development Manager at National Oilwell Varco, where Alan secured test runs for new Rotary Steerable Systems, and Technical Sales Advisor at FastCAP Systems Corporation, contributing to the company's growth and sale. Alan held various managerial positions at Hunting Energy Services, including Regional Manager and Global Product Manager for drilling tools, and developed markets for Rotary Steerable Systems at Gyrodata. Founding the International Association of Directional Drilling, Alan also served as Business Development Manager in Saudi Arabia for Weatherford and held multiple positions throughout a distinguished career that began in sales management at Drilex System Inc. and Coastel Communications. Alan holds degrees in Petroleum Geology from the University of Louisiana Monroe and The University of Texas at Austin.
