Janine Brogt is an accomplished translator, dramaturg, and writer with extensive experience in theater, opera, and dance. Currently serving as the translator of "The Damned" at ITA International Theater Amsterdam since February 2022 and as co-librettist and dramaturg for "Raymonda" at Dutch National Opera & Ballet since September 2020, Janine Brogt has a rich history of independent projects and collaborations. Notable roles include translator for "Romeo and Juliet" at ITA, and librettist/dramaturge for "Ballet Echoes of Vincent" with the West Australian Ballet. Janine Brogt has also contributed as a supervisory board member for Stichting Firma Ducks and has been involved in various productions as a dramaturg and writer since 2001. An alumnus of the University of Amsterdam with a master's degree in theatre and English literature, Janine Brogt continues to make significant contributions to the performing arts.
