Cathy Oster

Cathy Oster is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in governance and corporate law. Currently serving as a Legal and Governance Consultant at Duxton Capital Australia since February 2019, Cathy has held several key titles, including Head of Legal, Governance & Reporting. Previously, Cathy was Joint Company Secretary at Adbri Limited from March 2023 to September 2024 and General Counsel & Company Secretary at Beach Energy Ltd from 2005 to 2018. Earlier roles include Partner at Thomson Geer and Piper Alderman, where foundational legal expertise was developed. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Laws in Corporate and Commercial from the University of Adelaide, along with a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts in Jurisprudence from the same institution, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the University of South Australia.
