Candace Orr, CCSP, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Candace currently holds the role of Director of Tax Accounting Methods & Credits at Source Advisors since May 2022. Prior to that, they were the Assistant Tax Director at Source Advisors from May 2021 to May 2022.

Before joining Source Advisors, Orr worked at Bedford Cost Segregation, LLC as an Assistant Tax Director from August 2018 to May 2021. Candace'sresponsibilities included conducting Tangible Property Regulation studies, tax reviews, and report certifications. Candace also served as a liaison between Bedford and major alliance partners. Additionally, they held the role of Senior Manager at Bedford from November 2017 to July 2018.

Orr has previous experience at Ryan, where they held the position of Manager from September 2013 to October 2017. Candace'srole involved providing tax consulting services to corporate clients and managing federal income tax projects focused on fixed asset depreciation. Candace demonstrated expertise in fixed asset depreciation schedules and recovery periods for different types of property.

Candace also worked at Reddy Ice as the Fixed Assets Lead - Reporting & Reconciliation from May 2012 to September 2013. In this role, Orr supervised the fixed assets accountants, managed departmental metrics, and prepared various fixed asset reports.

Earlier in their career, Orr was a Sr. Associate - Fixed Asset Services & Cost Segregation at KPMG from March 2009 to May 2012. Candace conducted fixed asset reviews and cost segregation studies for a variety of property types. Candace'sresponsibilities included identifying qualifying property for shorter life depreciation and performing depreciation analysis on existing facilities.

Orr started their professional journey as an Intermediate Staff Accountant at Centex in September 2008 and worked there until January 2009. Candace then joined CTX Mortgage as a Sr. Staff Accountant from July 2006 to September 2008.

Candace'searliest professional experience was with Nokia, where they worked as a Fixed Asset Movement Specialist from December 2000 to June 2006.

Throughout their career, Orr has demonstrated expertise in tax accounting, fixed asset management, and cost segregation. Candace has a strong understanding of tax regulations and has successfully executed various tax projects.

Candace Orr, CCSP, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree from The University of Texas at Arlington, which they obtained from 2001 to 2003. Candace also obtained an Advanced Technical Certificate in Professional Accountancy from Dallas College Mountain View Campus, where they studied from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, Candace Orr holds the certification of ASCSP Certified Member, CCSP, from the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals.
