Nicole Timmerman

Nicole Timmerman is an experienced professional in the agri-food sector, currently serving on the Cosun Young Board at Duynie since November 2022, where the focus is on reducing waste and creating new value from co-products in collaboration with various chain partners. Prior experience includes roles as a Circularity Specialist and Trainee at Bakker Barendrecht B.V., as well as an intern with the Global Sensory Development Team at FrieslandCampina. Nicole has also contributed to academic consultancy on obesity prevention at Foundation Feed Your Mind, and has worked in various capacities at Wageningen University & Research, including marketing and consumer behavior assistance. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Management, Economics and Consumer Studies with a specialization in Sensory & Consumer Insights, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Consumer Sciences, both from Wageningen University & Research.
