Ferdinand Pospischil

Ferdinand Pospischil has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Ferdinand is currently a Universitätsprofessor at Technische Universität Graz since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Editor in Chief of the trade journal "Der Eisenbahningenieur - EI" at DVV Media Group GmbH starting in 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Ferdinand was a Project Manager at Getzner - engineering a quiet future and also served as a Systementwickler - R&D - Railway Division.

Before their time at Getzner, Ferdinand was a Forscher (Postdoktorand) at Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck from 2018 to 2020. Ferdinand previously held the position of Universitätsassistent at Universität Innsbruck from 2012 to 2016. Ferdinand started their career as a Studentische Hilfskraft at Zerna PROJEKTMANAGEMENT GmbH in 2011 and later as a Research Assistant at TU München from 2008 to 2011.

In the early stages of their career, Ferdinand gained practical experience as a Praktikant at Bilfinger Berger Ingenieurbau GmbH, Gro' Homes, and Garnocks Groundworks in 2007 and 2006 respectively.

Ferdinand Pospischil completed their education in two reputable institutions. From 2012 to 2015, they attended Leopold-Franzens Universität Innsbruck, where they earned a degree in Dr. techn. with a focus on Bauingenieurwesen (civil engineering). Prior to that, from 2006 to 2012, Ferdinand studied at the Technical University of Munich, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Bauingenieur.
