Mike Bettle-Shaffer

Mike Bettle-Shaffer is an experienced Software Engineering Manager at IBM since October 2012, overseeing the Release Engineering team focused on software delivery for the IBM z Systems platform. Previous roles include management of a development operations and infrastructure team and specialization in cloud automation, notably implementing Elastic Build Cloud technology. Early career experience includes working as an IT Specialist on the OpenTEC project and as a Science Communicator at Sensation, Dundee Science Centre. Mike holds a Master of Science degree in Physics from the University of Dundee, completed in 2011.
