Alicia Hughes

Alicia Hughes is an experienced communications professional currently serving as an Internal Communications Officer at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water since November 2022. Previously, Alicia held the position of Communications Officer at Trivallis from January 2022 to November 2022, and gained valuable experience as an Instagram Digital Editor with WALES ARTS REVIEW LTD in early 2021, where efforts focused on increasing website traffic through engaging social media posts. An internship at Elysium Gallery Swansea involved curating a public exhibition for Swansea's 50th anniversary as a city, which required collaboration with 50 artists and management of social media and marketing strategies. Additionally, Alicia volunteered with Swansea Council for Voluntary Service, producing a promotional video for the 2019 Swansea Learning Festival. Alicia holds a Master of Arts in Communication, Media Practice & Public Relations from Swansea University and a Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
