Frédéric Guichard

Frédéric Guichard is the CEO and CTO of DXOMARK. Frédéric previously served as the Cofounder, Chief Scientist, and CTO of DxO Labs from March 2003 to June 2018. In this role, they oversaw the design and creation of Optics Pro & PhotoLab, Image Quality Labs, tools and methodologies, Dxomark.com, SW and silicon ISP IPs, and lens/camera modules and ISP codesigns that have been integrated in hundred millions of camera sold in the world. From March 2000 to March 2003, they were the Chief Scientist at Vision IQ where they developed surveillance and computer vision products, including the Poseidon System that detects drowning accidents in large public swimming pools. Frédéric has also served as a researcher at Inrets from September 1997 to March 2000 and at Cognitech from July 1995 to August 1996.

Guichard attended the École normale supérieure for their MS and PhD in Mathematics. Frédéric also has an engineer's degree from the Corps des Ponts & Chaussées and École des Ponts ParisTech. Guichard's PhD is in Applied Math from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
