David Catano

David Catano has over 18 years of experience in accounts payable roles. David started their career as an Accounts Payable Supervisor at Katy Independent School District, where they built an effective and capable AP team through training and guidance. David then moved on to Waste Management, Inc. as an Accounts Payable Manager, where they led multiple on-shore and off-shore teams. After that, they joined Cornerstone Building Brands as an Accounts Payable Manager, where they led a staff of 15 direct reports and was responsible for monthly closing of the AP subledger. Currently, they are the Accounts Payable Director at DXP Enterprises, Inc., leading 22 employees across 5 AP teams and providing AP support for nearly 200 branch locations.

David Catano attended KATY High School from 1987 to 1990. David then enrolled at The University of Texas at El Paso from 1992 to 1997, where they obtained a BBA degree in Management/Accounting.
