Scott Beach has held various positions in the engineering and product development fields since 1998. Scott began their career as a Creative Consultant at Beach House Creations, followed by a Mechanical Engineer role at Quartus Engineering in 2006. In 2007, they moved to Invetech as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and then to Genalyte, Inc. in 2012 in a similar role. In 2014, they joined Biomatrica as a Product Development Engineer where they worked on a saliva collection device design, development and high volume productions. In 2016, they worked as a Product Development Engineer at BioFluidica, Inc. where they developed a liquid handling platform called digital-to-biological converter (D. B. C.). In 2017, they moved to Synthetic Genomics as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a contract assignment. From 2010 to 2020, they held the position of Product Development Engineer at DxTerity Diagnostics. Finally, in 2020, they co-founded Sealed Bio.
Scott Beach attended Ferris State University from 1989 to 1994, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Plastics Engineering. Scott also received a BS in Plastics Engineering from the same university.
