Steve Marsh

Steve Marsh has had a long career in the laboratory field. Steve began their career in 1996 as a Customer Support Engineer at Applera Corporation, where they were responsible for repairing, installing and maintaining DNA sequencers and synthesizers. Steve then moved to the California Institute of Technology in 2001, where they served as Director of the DNA Sequencing Core Facility. In 2008, they began working at Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics as a Lab Supervisor, overseeing supplies and daily lab tasks, training new employees, and assisting with clinical trials. In 2010, they worked as a Research Associate at both GenMark Diagnostics and Osmetech Diagnostics. Finally, in 2011, they joined DxTerity as a Sr. QA Engineer, where they oversaw calibration and maintenance of the lab equipment, did purchasing, receiving and shipping, and assisted with facilities management.

Steve Marsh attended California State University, Fullerton from 1985 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences. Steve then attended Loyola Marymount University, though it is unclear what degree or field of study they pursued.
