Ahmed Mahmoud

Ahmed Mahmoud has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Their most recent position was as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DXwand, a company they built from scratch. Ahmed was responsible for crafting the company's strategy, roadmap, funnels, and growth hacking, while also contributing to the coding process. During their time at DXwand, they led the company to grow from 1 to 30 employees with over $2 million in revenue.

Prior to DXwand, Ahmed worked at Microsoft, where they held the roles of Solutions Specialist and Technology Solutions Professional. In these positions, they leveraged their extensive experience to make their customers more efficient and successful in achieving their goals. Ahmed demonstrated Microsoft's innovative technology to key business and IT decision makers, showcased proposed solutions, and ensured successful deployment. Ahmed excelled in these roles, achieving 129% and 105% quota attainment.

Before their time at Microsoft, Ahmed worked at Vodafone International Services (VIS) as a Senior Systems Analyst. Ahmed transformed the Microsoft services unit at VIS into a complete end-to-end solution provider, resulting in a 30% increase in revenues and the doubling of their team. Ahmed also incubated new business streams, such as Mobile Apps, BI, and Portals.

Earlier in their career, Ahmed held the position of Team Leader at ITWorx, where they led a technical team on projects with a major national impact. Ahmed was instrumental in implementing a Virtual Learning Environment in all Independent Schools in Qatar and successfully launching Du, a new mobile operator in the UAE.

Ahmed's career started as a Senior Software Engineer at Harf Information Technology and later as a Software Engineer at DMS.

Ahmed Mahmoud holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Software Engineering from Ain Shams University, which they completed between 1998 and 2003. In 2016, they pursued an Online Diploma in Challenging Customers in Business Model Innovation from INSEAD. Ahmed has also obtained various certifications such as Insight Selling from Microsoft in November 2017, Microsoft-INSEAD Online Challenging Customers through Business Model Innovation from INSEAD Executive Education in December 2016, and MCTS: SharePoint Development from MCSD, though the specific month and year of obtaining the latter certification are unknown.
