Mahmoud Gomaa

Mahmoud Gomaa has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. Mahmoud began their career at MTSE as an R&D Software Engineer in 2005. Mahmoud then joined Mentor Graphics as an R&D SW Development Engineer, where they contributed to the development of IC Compaction tools and introduced a new design framework for an Analog Simulator conversion engine. In 2008, Mahmoud joined Vodafone as a System Analyst, where they implemented various projects using TIBCO middleware technologies and co-managed new product lifecycles.

In 2010, Mahmoud joined Microsoft as a Solutions Sales Specialist, where they were recognized for their achievements in Big Data and Application Platform Solution Sales in the MEA region. Mahmoud also served as a Principal Solution Specialist, driving conversations with customers and partners to align Microsoft technologies with their business goals.

Next, Mahmoud joined SAP in 2016 as a Senior Account Executive. Mahmoud had various roles within the company, including responsibility for existing and new customers, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving sales of Analytics solutions.

From 2019 to 2021, Mahmoud worked at Adobe as a Senior Account Director for South East Asia, managing key accounts and driving revenue growth.

In 2021, Mahmoud transitioned to Cisco as a Senior Customer Success Manager for Southern Europe and Middle East, where they continued their focus on customer success.

Most recently, Mahmoud became a Co-Founder and Growth Lead at DXwand in 2023, where they are involved in strategic decision-making and driving the growth of the company.

Mahmoud Gomaa completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University between 1999 and 2005. Mahmoud then pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo from 2007 to 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Mahmoud obtained the "Leading the Way in Public Sector" certificate from the London Business School in May 2016. Mahmoud also completed three certifications from INSEAD Executive Education, namely "Microsoft-INSEAD Online Challenging Customers through Business Model Innovation" in March 2016, "Microsoft-INSEAD Business Strategy and Financial Acumen" in January 2016, and "Business Development Manager" certificate from TM Forum in November 2013. Additionally, Mahmoud has completed various Python-related courses including "Intermediate Python for Data Science," "Intro to Python for Data Science," and "Python Data Science Toolbox (Part 1)" from DataCamp.
