Laura Beard

Laura Beard has extensive experience in medical informatics and nursing education. Currently serving as the Director of Medical Informatics for Epic Inpatient Teams at Baptist Memorial Health Care since December 2019, Laura also holds a position as Nursing Faculty at Dyersburg State Community College since January 2017. Previously, Laura worked as the Epic Inpatient Orders and ASAP Lead Analyst at Health Care Corporation from October 2012 to December 2019 and in nursing informatics and as a Registered Nurse at Health Care from December 2000 to October 2012. Laura's educational qualifications include multiple Epic certifications in clinical documentation and order transmittals, along with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Nursing Informatics from Walden University.
