Luca Mannocci

Luca Mannocci has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship at Università degli Studi di Pisa from 2003 to 2005, where they focused on synthesis, reaction discovery, scale-up, and in vitro testing. Luca then joined Philochem AG in 2009 as the Head of DNA-Encoded Chemistry and drug discovery technology, responsible for project management, business development, and collaboration negotiations with major pharmaceutical companies. In 2012, they became the Manager ADC at CARBOGEN AMCIS, a role that they still hold. In the same year, they also started working at DECLTech as a Technology Expert and Consultant / Business Owner. In 2015, they co-founded DyNAbind and is currently engaged in that role as well.

Luca Mannocci's education history begins in 1994 when they earned their high school diploma in Natural Sciences from Liceo Scientifico U. Dini. From 1999 to 2004, Luca attended Università degli Studi di Pisa and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry. Following this, Luca pursued further education at ETH Zürich from 2004 to 2008 and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry - Biotechnology. In terms of additional certifications, Luca obtained the CODEMA PHARMA ACKNOWLEDGED EXPERT certification from CODEMA PHARMA S.A. in December 2018.
