Linda Rawson is a CEO, author, public speaker and serial entrepreneur. Linda is a technology entrepreneur, and executive focused on providing innovative information technology, system integration, cybersecurity and writing services to government and commercial clients. Her background as a software engineer, combined with her corporate executive experience, merges the technical with the business world. She founded DynaGrace Enterprises and started her company initially called Sensory Technology Consultants, in 2006. DynaGrace Enterprises (DGE) is 100 percent Women-Owned Small Business and is an SBA 8(a) certified graduate and has done several million dollars of DoD government contracts.
Linda was raised in a small farming community, Morgan, Utah by her mother, who was a single mom raising five children. She never thought about being an entrepreneur even though there were childhood tendencies. From meager beginnings came the experience of how to work hard to achieve results. She has exceeded expectations and never let various challenges and obstacles associated with being a woman impede upon her path to success.
Linda began her career doing data entry and self-taught herself software development and made a very good career out of administering databases and writing user experiences especially in the scientific areas of bioinformatics, geographical information systems, RADAR and environmental information systems.
While working as a software engineer, Linda first thought about having her own business. In 2006, a longtime friend offered a contract with NASA as a sub-contractor to get started. DGE received their 8(a) status and the company has grown because of her leadership. She is grateful for the help of her daughter, Jennifer Remund, in making this business operate for over a decade.
Linda has a “pay it forward” attitude helps other businesses get started. Her prime interest is in Women and Minority Business Owners. She chooses to share her knowledge and experience with other entrepreneurs and recently began her podcast, 2BizChicks.
In 2016, Linda became an author of the niche book about what she knows, The Minority and Woman-Owned Small Business Guide to Government Contracts: Everything You Need to Know to Get Started. Linda continues to help other aspiring writers get their words published.
Although very passionate about what she does Linda finds balance in her life by spending time with her family and friends. Linda also finds pleasure in life by traveling, photography and participating in outdoor activities.
