Will Johnson

Will Johnson is a Senior Software Engineer at Dynamic Map Platform North America since February 2024. Prior to this role, Will served as Chief Technology Officer at Michigan Aerospace Corporation from January 2014 to February 2024, where responsibilities included systems engineering, new business development, and program management, as well as leadership in lidar technology. Will has also held positions such as Director of Technology Development and Lidar Business Unit Director at Michigan Aerospace Corporation. Academic accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Physics from Montana State University-Bozeman (2008-2013) and a B.S. in Physics from Western Michigan University (2003-2007), complemented by research experience at NASA Langley Research Center as a Research Assistant, focusing on lidar technologies for atmospheric measurements.
