Giovanni Dal Lago

Giovanni Dal Lago has a lengthy work experience in the aerospace and astronomy fields. Giovanni started their career in 1998 as Deputy Editor for Coelum Astronomia. In 2001, they co-founded and became the CEO of Astrotech s.r.l. In 2002, they co-founded and became the Editor in Chief of Le Stelle mensile. In 2009, they co-founded and became the Vice President and CEO of Officina Stellare. In 2020, they became the President of the Board of Directors for Dynamic Optics, and also became a Member of Gruppo per l’accreditamento e la valutazione del Corso di Laurea in Astronomia for Università degli Studi di Padova. In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors for ThinkQuantum and a Consorzio Co.Si.Mo Member of the Board and C.T.S. member for Rete Innovativa Regionale Aerospace Innovation and Research - RIR AIR.

Giovanni Dal Lago obtained their Diploma di Geometra from ITC Aulo Ceccato and their Diploma di abilitazione all'esercizio della libera professione di geometra from Istituto Tecnico Statale per Geometri Antonio Canova di Vicenza. Giovanni also holds a General Management nelle PMI (IX, certificate) from SDA Bocconi obtained in October 2020, a "Lean Manufacturing" - Corso per l'apprendimento permanente (Certificate) from Università degli Studi di Padova obtained in 2017, a La norma ASD-STAN prEN 9100:2016 per la qualità nell'industria aerospaziale (Attestation of competence) from TÜV SÜD obtained in December 2016, a 2nd European Seminar on Precision Optics Manufacturing "Optical Systems and their manufacturing" from Technische Hochschule Deggendorf obtained in April 2015, and an Italian Civil Aviation Authority - Flight Crew Licence from ENAC - Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile obtained in April 2009.
