Jeremy Van Wyk has had a diverse and successful career. Jeremy began their career in 2002 as a 6th Grade Teacher for the Eddyville-Blakesburg CSD. In 2004, they moved to the Military Personnel Services Corporation as a Program Specialist, where they worked with a team of 13 on the development and implementation of nation-wide military programming for families and community members. In 2005, they were Lead Child and Youth Program Coordinator, HPSC/IANG for the US Army, where they ran a program that provided support for nearly 11,000 military youth throughout the state of Iowa. From 2012 to present, they have been National Program Manager, ARNG Child and Youth Services Program for Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. (DysTech). In this role, they have also been the Western Region Assistant Program Manager, managing and overseeing Child and Youth Program Coordinators in all the states (and Guam) west of the Mississippi River. Jeremy is also responsible for oversight of travel budgets, planning and implementing professional development trainings and development of key programming resources and policies.
Jeremy Van Wyk obtained their High School Diploma from Eddyville-Blakesburg CSD in 1998. Jeremy then went on to earn their BA in Elementary Education from William Penn University in 2002. In 2013, they completed their Masters of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Concordia University-Portland. Additionally, Jeremy Van Wyk has obtained certifications in K-8 Reading, K-8 Mildly Disabled, K-8 Multicategorical Resource, and K-8 Instructional Strategist I.
