John Cherrington

John Cherrington currently serves as a Senior Information Technology Specialist at Dynamo Freight since January 2023. Previously, John held several positions at M&T Bank from January 2015 to December 2022, including Vice President and roles in Information Management and DataOps, as well as Project Manager of Infrastructure and Integration. Prior to that, John worked as Regional Manager for IT Enterprise Client Services at Amtrak from 2009 to 2015, and as an Advanced Computer Tech/Network Engineer Consultant for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2008-2009. John’s career began with a position as a Tier 1.5 Analyst at Comcast Cable from 2007 to 2008. Education includes completion of the Management Development Program at Harvard Business School Club of Buffalo and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy from ULC. John possesses expertise in Data Discovery, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Data Security, and Application Management.
