Dylan Roy

Dylan Roy has worked in the technology industry since 2007. Dylan began their career as a Transportation Aide (Software Developer) at the Iowa Department of Transportation from 2007-2012. During this time, they worked closely with a team of IT personnel, researched and implemented web applications, and developed custom programming solutions. From 2012-2013, they worked as a Systems Developer/Analyst at Japs-Olson Company and as a Technical Services Analyst at St. Louis County, MN. In 2013, they joined Dow Jones as a VP, Data Engineering, and held several other roles including Engineering Director, Personalization Platforms, Senior Engineering Manager, "Pulsar" Knowledge Graph Platform, Engineering Manager, "DNA" Data Platform, and Data Engineer, Data Science and Engineering. In 2009, they founded Thinksoft Solutions, where they operated and owned a webhosting and consulting limited liability company, hosted and developed clients' websites, and worked with MySQL databases, PHP, and JavaScript to create complex web applications and sites. Currently, they are the Head of Data at Dynatron Software, Inc.

Dylan Roy obtained their High School Diploma from Cloquet Senior High School in 2006. Dylan then attended Iowa State University, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. In 2019, they obtained nine certifications from LinkedIn in fields such as ECMAScript 6, Strategic Agility, Strategic Partnerships, and more.
