Cody Desjardins, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cody currently serves as the Director of Neuromuscular Research at Dyne Therapeutics, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Neuromuscular Research at the same company from July 2021 to February 2023.
From June 2019 to July 2021, Cody worked as a Principal Scientist in Discovery Research at Dyne Therapeutics. Before that, they held the position of Senior Scientist in Discovery Research from February 2018 to June 2019.
Cody also has experience working at Sarepta Therapeutics as a Scientist I in Translational Development from May 2017 to January 2018. In this role, they focused on bioanalytical assay development and managed relationships with CROs.
Prior to their industry experience, Cody pursued their Ph.D. at Boston University from September 2011 to April 2017, where they were a Ph.D. candidate. Cody also worked as a Research Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital from July 2009 to July 2011. Additionally, they gained research experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at Bowdoin College in 2008 and as an REU Intern at Fordham University in 2008.
Cody Desjardins, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College in 2009. Cody then pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology, General at Boston University from 2011 to 2017. Prior to their undergraduate studies, Cody attended Madawaska High School from 2001 to 2005.
