Elijah Shanmugam

Elijah Shanmugam has extensive work experience in the construction and commissioning industry. Elijah is currently serving as the Head of External Services at Dynepro Private Limited, where they are responsible for managing various services related to construction, erection, commissioning, retrofit modification, and performance enhancement of projects. Their role includes finalizing project estimations, resource planning, and scheduling, as well as drafting and finalizing project bids for construction tendering. Prior to their current position, Elijah worked as the Vice President of Construction at Reliance Industries Limited from 2014 to 2020. Elijah also held the position of Additional Vice President at Cethar Vessels Limited, where they successfully delivered projects by liaising with statutory bodies and ensuring timely permits, approvals, and clearances. Elijah's earlier work experience includes roles as an Additional Chief Manager at NLC India Limited, a Site Engineer at Turnkey Constructions, and an Erection Engineer at Aby Pipes & Insulations.

Elijah Shanmugam obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering in Salem, Tamilnadu. This education took place from 1979 to 1984. In addition to their formal education, they also acquired additional certifications. In March 2019, they completed the "Leading Change" course at Lynda.com, and also obtained a certification in "Running a Design Business: Presentation Skills" from the same institution and in the same month and year.
