Wenbo Wang is a Senior Power Module Engineer at Dynex Semiconductor Ltd since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Bristol from January 2015 to January 2016. During their time at the university, they focused on a project related to multi-domain optimization and virtual prototyping for high-density power electronics systems funded by EPSRC. They gained experience in studying thermal modeling methods for power electronic systems, including finite element method, finite differential method, and lumped-parameter model.
Wenbo Wang began their education in 2007 at China University of Petroleum, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. They then continued their studies at Zhejiang University from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's degree with a focus on Lumped-parameter Thermal Model Analysis for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines. Currently, Wenbo Wang is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Bristol, a program which they are still actively enrolled in.
