Tim Katz has over 17 years of experience in the e-commerce industry. From 2003 to 2015, they held various roles at Pacific Sunwear, starting as a Web Designer/Developer and progressing to Sr. Director of E-Commerce. In 2015, they became the VP of E-commerce & Marketing at Rakuten.com, where they were responsible for leading the rebranding effort from Buy.com to Rakuten.com. In 2016, they moved to Active Ride Shop as the VP of E-commerce & Marketing, where they achieved several e-commerce goals, such as re-platforming from Magneto to Shopify Plus and implementing an Omni-Channel Technology. In 2015, they also became Co-Founder & Principal at DYODE, where they provided services such as Executive Leadership, Omni-Channel Digital Strategy & Roadmap Development, P&L Management, Business Auditing, Technology Evaluation & Re-Platforming, Shopify Plus Development, BigCommerce Development, Digital Marketing, and more.
Tim Katz attended Academy of Art University from 2001 to 2002, studying Animation, Interactive Technology, Video Graphics and Special Effects. In October 2014, they obtained a Google AdWords certification from Google.
