Ajay Cyril

Ajay Cyril has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Ajay is currently working as the Head of Product - Safe City at e& enterprise IoT & AI since March 2023. Before that, they served as the Principal Product Manager at airtel from January 2022 to March 2023. Prior to that, they were the Product Lead - IoT & Smart Homes at Etisalat from August 2019 to January 2022. Ajay also worked as a Senior Product Manager - IoT at Tata Communications from November 2018 to August 2019. Ajay held various positions at Tata Group Technology and Innovation Office, Tata Sons, including Senior Manager from April 2018 to October 2018 and Manager - Projects and Operations from June 2015 to March 2018. In these roles, they led the commercialization and go-to-market strategy for the Tata Group's first collaborative IoT product and managed projects and operations. Ajay began their career as a TAS Manager at Tata Administrative Services in June 2014 and gained project management experience at Tata Teleservices. Ajay also worked as a Summer Research Intern at Tata Housing Development Company Limited in 2013.

Ajay Cyril completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell in the years 2008 to 2012. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General, IT and Systems Management, Consulting, and BD from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, from 2012 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Ajay Cyril has obtained various certifications. Ajay is a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certified by Scrum.org, a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certified by Scrum Alliance, and holds a certification in Digital Marketing from Google. Ajay has also completed certification courses in Data Analysis with Python, Data Science Methodology, Open Source Data Science Tools, and Introduction to Data Science, all provided by IBM. Moreover, Ajay Cyril has obtained TRIZ Level 1 certification from Matriz and has completed a course on Intellectual Property Law and Policy offered by UPenn through edX.
