Teck Ping Sim

Teck Ping Sim is a highly experienced Senior Display Engineer II at E Ink Corporation since August 2010, recognized for innovation with 21 granted and pending patents. Expertise includes data analysis, developing production-ready drive schemes, and troubleshooting high-priority customer issues. Previously, as a Display Engineer, Teck Ping Sim focused on electro-optics test protocols and performance validation. Prior to E Ink, Teck Ping Sim held the position of Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Minnesota, conducting time and frequency domain analysis of xerographic printing systems in collaboration with Ricoh Co. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at the Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology, where Teck Ping Sim contributed to signal processing algorithm design and the development of a commercial prototype. Teck Ping Sim holds a PhD in Control and Signal Processing from the University of Minnesota, an MEng in Mechatronics from the National University of Singapore, and a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia.
