Zhe Gong

Zhe Gong is a seasoned Sr Engineer at E Ink Corporation, having joined the company in July 2021, and previously served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania from February 2020 to June 2021. Prior to this, Zhe Gong was a Research Assistant at New York University from October 2014 to January 2020, where significant contributions included the synthesis of inorganic and polymeric colloids and the development of innovative methodologies for programmable colloidal building blocks. As a Student Mentor, Zhe Gong supervised undergraduate research in colloidal particle synthesis and self-assembly behaviors. Additionally, Zhe Gong held the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor, teaching advanced general chemistry, organic chemistry, and energy and environment to over 150 students. Zhe Gong earned a PhD in Colloids, Physical Chemistry, and Material Science from New York University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Nankai University in 2014.
