Manolis Koubarakis

Manolis Koubarakis is a Professor in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a position held since November 2005. Previous academic roles include Assistant and Associate Professor in the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering at the Technical University of Crete from September 1999 to October 2005, and a Visiting Scientist in the same department from January 1999 to August 1999. Manolis Koubarakis also served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computation at UMIST from January 1995 to December 1998, and as a Research Associate at IC-Parc, Department of Computing, Imperial College from October 1993 to January 1995. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the National Technical University of Athens (1994), a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto (1991), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Crete (1986).
