Rhia Lauren Wagner

Lauren Wagner, RHIA, currently serves as the Compliance, Privacy and Security Officer at eMDs since November 2020, where Lauren has spearheaded company-wide compliance program initiatives, led a team to manage privacy and security incidents, and developed compliance training content. Previously, Lauren held the position of Director of HIM at Post Acute Medical, focusing on safeguarding patient records. Earlier roles include HIM Supervisor and Certification and Regulatory Data Specialist at Hospice Austin, where Lauren ensured compliance with privacy regulations and oversaw HIM operations. Lauren's career began as an ROI Specialist at BACTES Imaging Solutions, LLC. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Texas State University.
