Ethan Zou

Ethan Zou has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Ethan began their career at TransUnion in 2013 as an Analyst and worked there until 2015. Ethan then joined Verisk Analytics and held various roles including Senior Data Scientist, Lead Data Scientist, and Principal Data Scientist from 2015 to 2018. In 2018, Ethan Zou joined Coursera as a Senior Data Scientist and later became the Machine Learning Manager, a position they held until 2022. Currently, they are working at E-Space as a Lead Machine Learning Engineer starting from 2023.

Ethan Zou obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computational Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business during the years 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology from China University of Mining and Technology from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in various courses including "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," "Neural Networks and Deep Learning," "R Programming," and "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera in different years.
