Tanye Ver Loren van Themaat

Tanye ver Loren van Themaat is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator, currently serving as the Founder and Lead Instructor of Startup Foundations Academy since August 2020, focusing on empowering startups through AI-driven methodologies. As the Founder and CEO of Thundamental (Pty) Ltd since May 2015, Tanye specializes in first principles innovation, guiding businesses in solving complex problems and developing sustainable strategies. Tanye's experience includes mentoring startups through various programs, notably as a Business Mentor for the Pathways to Success programme at E Squared Investments, and previously leading curriculum design at AlphaCode. With a strong academic background, including a postgraduate degree in Financial Strategy from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, as well as multiple degrees in engineering and business, Tanye is dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and innovation.
