Mark Angelo Sarmiento

Mark Angelo Sarmiento has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Mark Angelo started their career as an intern at Asian Life Financial Assurance Corporation and SEAOIL Philippines, Inc. In 2011, they joined Isla Lipana & Co. as an Assurance Senior Associate, where they gained experience in conducting statutory audit and review engagements for various industries, including oil and gas, power plant management, mining, and more. Mark Angelo also handled US-SOX and J-SOX audits for high-profile clients in the oil and gas and electronics industries. In 2014, they became the Assistant Corporate Audit Manager at Emperador Distillers, Inc. before joining NetSuite as a Senior Technical Support Specialist in 2015. Mark Angelo then moved to PwC Nederland in 2016, where they initially served as a Senior Assurance Associate and later became an Assurance Manager. Their responsibilities there involved managing audits, communicating with clients and leadership, and leading audit teams. Mark Angelo recently joined e2open in 2022 as a Senior Accountant and quickly moved up to the role of EMEA Accounting Team Lead in 2023.

Mark Angelo Sarmiento attended Marikina Science High School from 2002 to 2006. Mark Angelo then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Accountancy at the University of the Philippines from 2006 to 2011.
