Jody Calvert has a long and varied work history. Starting in 1996 with Effem Inc., Jody worked as a Project Engineer for New Food Products. In 1997, Jody began working for Imperial Oil, first as a Facility Engineer, then as a Project Manager for Conventional Oil and Gas. In 2004, Jody was promoted to Project Development for Cold Lake Projects. In 2007, Jody was promoted again to Project Development and Research. In 2011, Jody was promoted to New Operations Advisor for the Kearl Mining Project. In 2018, Jody left Imperial Oil to join Integrated Water as a Project Development Specialist for Sustainable Water Treatment Projects. In 2019, Jody moved to Integrated Sustainability as a Project Manager and Developer for Water Treatment Infrastructure. In 2021, Jody was promoted to Technology Development, where they developed new distillation technology for water treatment, served as a water strategy advisor for the oil and gas industry, and developed a Bitcoin mine. Finally, in 2022, Jody began working for E3 Lithium as an Engineering Manager.
Jody Calvert has a long and varied educational background. From 1991 to 1996, they earned an Engineer’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Co-op from the University of Waterloo. Jody then obtained a certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta in January 1997. In 2014-2016, they attended UC San Diego for Lactation Education and Consulting. In 1990-1991, they studied Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo. Additionally, they have obtained an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners.
