Isabel Hilton OBE is a distinguished figure in journalism and academia, currently serving as a Senior Associate Fellow at RUSI Europe and as Chair of the Baillie Gifford Prize for non-fiction. With extensive experience as the Board Co-Chair of The Bureau of Investigative Journalism and contributing editor at Prospect Magazine, Isabel Hilton has also held significant roles including Non-Executive Director of E3G and Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Centre for Investigative Journalism. In addition to a visiting professorship at King's College London, Isabel Hilton is an International Advisory Board member of the Institute for Human Rights and Business, and was the founder and senior adviser of The China Dialogue Trust, which developed into a global network for journalism. Isabel Hilton's academic background includes a Master of Arts in Chinese Language and Literature from the University of Edinburgh, supplemented by studies at Fudan University and Beijing Language and Culture University.
