Marco Lorenzini

Marco Lorenzini is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and product management. Currently serving as the Software Products Director at E80 Group since 2023, Marco focuses on advancing E80 software products and expanding the Smile80 initiative. Previously, Marco was the Technical Director for Smile80 at E80 Group from 2021 to 2022. A significant part of Marco's career was spent at Cisco from 2000 to 2020, where roles included Senior Engineering Manager and Global Project Leader, overseeing the development and support of optical technologies within the Cisco Evolved Programmable Network (EPN) Manager and leading the Cisco Prime Optical product teams. Marco began a career at Pirelli as a Software Engineer from 1998 to 2000, contributing to the development of an Element Management System. Marco holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from MIP Politecnico di Milano and a Master's Degree in Engineering of Computer Systems from Politecnico di Milano.
