Trond Vidar Karlsen

Trond Vidar Karlsen has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving as Kundeansvarlig at E.A. Smith since July 2017, responsible for sales management, budgeting, and client portfolio management. Previously, Trond held the role of Verkstedleder at Trondheim Stål AS from January 2002 to June 2017, overseeing workshop staff and daily operations, as well as production management. Trond's career began at Ila Stålindustri AS as a Fagarbeider from April 1997 to December 2001, focusing on the prefabrication of steel structures and operating CNC-controlled plasma cutting systems. Trond also studied at Teknisk Fagskole, earning a degree in Sveiseteknologisk linje from 1993 to 1995.
