Jonathan Byrd

Jonathan Byrd has extensive experience in various industries and roles. Jonathan began their career at Alion Science and Technology as a Systems Engineer, where they researched and developed autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control systems. Jonathan then joined the US Air Force as an Electronics Engineer, supporting the technical advisor's office in test planning and execution for air force programs.

Following their military service, Jonathan worked at Lockheed Martin, where they held multiple positions, including Lead Operations Engineer, responsible for establishing and overseeing manufacturing capabilities for a new prototype electronic assembly. Jonathan also participated in the Operations Leadership Development Program, gaining experience in manufacturing engineering, production supervision, supplier monitoring, and test supervision.

Jonathan then co-founded Lakeside Management Partners, an entrepreneurial private equity firm, where they managed acquisition-related activities and built relationships with business owners across various industries. Jonathan later joined Keystone Strategy as a Strategy Consultant, providing analytical business decision-making support to premier technology clients.

Prior to their current role, Jonathan served as the Director of Strategic Development at BNI Business Network International, developing and executing global corporate strategy to drive membership growth and financial returns. Jonathan also worked as the Director of Global Operations at Corporate Connections Global, overseeing operational aspects of the company.

Currently, Jonathan is the Chief Operating Officer at EagleHawk, a startup specializing in drone-enabled inspection services and software. In this role, they oversee operations and general business development in the drone inspection services and software space.

Jonathan Byrd has a strong educational background in engineering and business. Jonathan obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) at the University of Central Florida from 2006 to 2007. Jonathan also holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and Computer Engineering (BSCpE) from West Virginia University, which they earned from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Jonathan obtained the EIT (Engineer in Training) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying in West Virginia.
