Barak Engel

Barak Engel has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Barak founded and served as the CEO and Chief Geek of EAmmune since 2003. Barak has also been a Member of the Board of Directors at Continental AP since 2022. In addition, they have held various roles such as CISO at Bond Financial Technologies, Inc. since 2020, and as an Advisory Board Member at Wallarm, Trace Data, Trustdome, and CyberReconn. Barak has also worked as a CISO at BetterUp, Remind, and StubHub, showcasing their ability to successfully address critical transitions during periods of extreme growth.

Barak Engel earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they attended from 1991 to 1995. Barak then pursued higher education at the University of Haifa, where they obtained an MBA in Business Administration and Management in 1999. In addition to their formal education, Barak Engel also obtained a certification in CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) from (ISC)² in October 2002.
