Sallynee Amawat

Board Member at Early Music America

Sallynee Amawat is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in early music and violin performance. Currently serving as a Board Member for Early Music America since October 2022, Sallynee also holds the position of Executive Director and Violinist at Infusion Baroque, a role maintained since September 2013. In addition, violin teaching roles have been undertaken at Stewart Hall Cultural Centre and McGill Conservatory since August 2012 and 2010 respectively. Since 2011, Sallynee has been active as a freelance Baroque Violinist. Early career experience includes being a String Orchestra Specialist at International School Bangkok from 2003 to 2008 and a Web Editorial Assistant at McGill University in 2014. Sallynee obtained a Doctor of Music in Early Music Performance from McGill University (2012-2016) and holds both a Master of Music in Early Music and a Master of Music in Violin Performance with Emphasis in Suzuki Pedagogy from respective institutions.
