Stephanie Fossey

Director, Operational Risk at Early Warning

Stephanie Fossey, CAMS, has extensive work experience in the field of risk management. Stephanie began their career at Franchise Finance Corporation of America, where they served as a Senior Underwriter/Underwriter and later took on the role of Asset Management. Fossey then moved on to GE Capital, where they held the position of VP Risk Manager and later VP Risk Policies, Procedures, Audit, and Regulatory. In these roles, they managed credit risk policies and procedures, facilitated audits and regulatory exams, and identified operational risks and control failures. Fossey's most recent role was as the Director of Operational Risk at Early Warning®, where they were responsible for building and managing various operational risk programs. Stephanie established methodology, strategy, and scope for second line controls validation and worked with relevant parties to identify and document issues, escalate, and ensure remediation.

Stephanie Fossey, CAMS, obtained a Bachelor's degree in Finance, General from Arizona State University from 1996 to 2000. Stephanie also holds additional certifications including a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist certification from ACAMS obtained in November 2015 and a Business Storytelling certification with C.C. Chapman from LinkedIn obtained in October 2021. Fossey is also Green Belt Certified, although no institution or specific date of certification is provided.
