Eddy Mejia has a diverse work experience. Eddy started their career in 2008 as a Communications Security (COMSEC) Account Manager and Information Technology Manager for the US Army. In 2015, they worked as an Application Developer for Exelon. In 2016, they worked as a Game Developer for Northrop Grumman and as a Founder and Product Developer for DisplayInfinity. In 2017, they worked as a Product Developer for Caterpillar Inc. In 2019, they worked as a Founder for Earnest Agriculture and Corporate Strategic Procurement for Intel Corporation. In 2020, they are currently working as a Category Manager for Intel Corporation. In their roles, Eddy has been responsible for the development and implementation of global strategies, supplier selection, supplier management, contract negotiation, and business partner influencing. Eddy has also pushed cost reduction, managed risk, maintained a competitive supply chain environment, aligned business partners on architecture and future technology, and road maps. Eddy has raised over $390,000 in pre-seed capital, solved various construction and cost problems, and analyzed over 60 fabricators. Eddy has also created a process to standardize, add increased controls, metrics, and speed the creation of higher quality scopes of work. Additionally, they have overseen enterprise-wide hardware/software installations, major OS upgrade/expansion projects, and administered LAN-WAN configurations and management of organization network stacks.

Eddy Mejia has a diverse educational background. Eddy earned an Associate of Science (AS) in Information Technology from Central Texas College between 2010 and 2012. Eddy then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago between 2014 and 2018. Most recently, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2020. In addition to their degree qualifications, Eddy has obtained numerous certifications from Udacity and Code School, including the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship, CSS Cross-Country, Front-end Formations, Front-end Foundations, JavaScript Road Trip Part 1 and Part 2, Journey Into Mobile, and Shaping-up-with-Angular-JS.
