Chris Bethel

Chris Bethel has extensive experience in data science and analytics. Chris currently holds the position of VP, Data Science at Earnest Research since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Data Science Director at Earnest Research from March 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining Earnest Research, Chris held the role of Data Science Lead at Augury from January 2019 to February 2020. Chris was responsible for leading data science initiatives at the company.

From March 2018 to December 2018, Chris served as the Director of Data Science at Alluvium. Prior to that, they co-founded Alluvium in August 2015 and held the role of Head of Data and Analytics until February 2018.

Chris also has experience working as a Senior Data Scientist at Sum from June 2014 to June 2015, and at Collective from March 2013 to June 2014.

Their career in data science began at Gilt Groupe, where they worked as the 1st Data Scientist from March 2009 to February 2013.

Chris Bethel attended NYU Stern School of Business from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Statistics, Information Systems, and Finance.
