Don Wuebbles

Don Wuebbles started their work experience in 1994 at the University of Illinois, where they held the positions of Professor and later Emeritus Professor until 2021. In 1994, they also became the Harry E. Preble Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a position they held until 2021. In 2011, Wuebbles joined Earth Knowledge as the Director of Climate Science. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy as the Assistant Director.

Don Wuebbles earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1966 and 1972. Don then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences at the University of California, Davis from 1976 to 1983.
