Tony Jia

Tony Jia is a specially appointed associate professor at the Earth-Life Science Institute (ELSI), with a progressive career at the institution since January 2017, including roles as assistant professor and research scientist. Additionally, Tony Jia serves as a research investigator and affiliated researcher at the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science since May 2019. Previous experience includes a scientific consultant role at the New York Institute of Technology and several positions at Harvard University, where academic research focused on RNA evolution, prebiotic chemistry, and RNA-peptide interactions. Tony Jia holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Arts in Chemistry from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Economics from Caltech.
